The contrast ratio will help to determine how much paint is required per m\u00b2. Or to put it another way, it illustrates the ability of an interior paint to hide a contrasting substrate and what amount of paint would be needed in order to avoid such contrasting substrate. Paints hiding power (contrast ratio) above 99.5%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00b7 Class 2: Paints that have excellent hiding power. Paints hiding power (contrast ratio) between 98 -99.5%, when applied in a single layer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00b7 Class 3: Paints that have good hiding power.
